The “Day out with Thomas” or as we usually say it “Thomas day out” is held at the Glenbrook vintage railway is immensely popular with thousands of people turning out. Dates and times can be found on the railway website listed under “Special Events”.

Admission to the day out is free but the ride on the train to Fernleigh and the workshop is currently $20 for an adult and $10 for a child with family concessions. If you take the train trip then you can ride on Thomas for free by just showing your ticket for the train.

There are various stalls with Thomas merchandise, hot dogs, sausage sizzles and so on. Lets not forget the playground which is getting better all the time and includes an old train the kids can climb all over.
